Silikal® Flake Is A Self Leveling Floor Resurfacer Liquid Floor Leveler, & Complete System All In One
Silikal because of its actual composition is actually a self leveling floor resurfacer, a liquid floor leveler if you wish. You see when Silikal is laid on a concrete floor, for instance, or even on a wooden floor, it will “set up” in such a way that you will end up with completely level flooring.
Imagine if you will, that you have a commercial pool patio that is not level and thus the water that is splashed out of the pool goes back into the pool carrying with it all the dust and dirt that it encountered on its “trip” back into the pool. With a self leveling floor resurfacer, using the liquid floor leveler in Silikal, you can have a beautiful level expanse with this liquid floor leveler around your pool that no longer dumps dirty water in to your pool! Besides being a self leveling floor resurfacer, Silikal can resemble many different surfaces that sunlight will not in any way damage. This means that you can have a lovely quartz look surrounding your pool that will also be unaffected by harsh sunlight during the summer months, and possibly cold snow in the winter. Silikal is a very forgiving material.
Even though your sun deck will be in the full sun, application of this type of reactive
resin when in direct sunlight is truly not recommended, as the substrate will be too warm. Because of this, Silikal should be applied on a sundeck on a cloudy day, but your installer will know this and avoid application in full sun.
