Silikal - A Floor Waterproof Membrane And Concrete Vapor Moisture Sealer System

Silikal’s waterproof membrane is a concrete waterproof and vapor moisture sealer. This floor application is a vapor sealer and waterproof layer that we apply to concrete. In order to minimize the movement of vapor through your concrete floor, waterproof membranes must be applied. Our concrete vapor moisture sealer provides the best vapor barrier. Silikal concrete vapor moisture sealer is quick and easy to apply, thereby assuring that your concrete floor remains dry at all times. For the assured protection of your concrete floor, a waterproof membrane must be applied. Without silikal vapor moisture sealer, you will end up with a concrete floor that is damp and cold. This is common in old basement floors which were constructed without any vapor barriers beneath them.

Silikal concrete vapor moisture sealers provide your floor with waterproof membranes that allow for the easy control and elimination of moisture. Our competitor’s products tend to leave an easy path for water vapor to migrate into and permeate the concrete floor, thereby producing a cold, clammy, damp feeling that never goes away. In order to get rid of this, you would have to pay the high costs of having your entire floor prematurely repaired or replaced. This is not an ideal scenario as it cuts in on productivity by subjecting your business to unnecessary downtime. In addition to dampness, you will also face the problem of having water vapor move through the concrete floor, delaminate sealers and overlays, discolor acid stains, damage aggregates, produce efflorescence on the surface, cause curling and condensing underneath objects on the floor.
